Help keep kids away from cannabis candy.

We think that edibles designed to mimic candy are not cool. Which is why we support existing laws in states like Colorado, California, and Washington that restricts any edible marijuana products shaped like animals, people, insects (sorry worms) and fruit - all aimed at decreasing the likelihood small children will mistake them for a popular treat. In reality, we know poison control hotline receives thousands of calls each year when kids swallow household cleaners and prescription medications, far more calls than they receive about marijuana products. However we think the cannabis industry approaching it as a responsible, conservative actor is the smart move here. Honestly, treating your cannabis like an adult product in your house and making sure your children can’t get a hold of it is the ultimate line of defense.
